How to Create Valued and Relevant Content

Posted on November 1, 2013

Without a doubt, great content can make connections like no other. Not only does it speak to visitors but it also encourages them to buy and succeeds in doing so.

But there are certain principles that one must abide by to create great content that is both relevant and valued, and so here are 4 of them:

#1: Help visitors complete tasks

There are clear reasons why people go online. So, in order to help them finish these tasks, one has to effectively sort out how one’s site looks in terms of organization and clear communication. Also make sure you know what they’re looking for.

#2: Answer the right questions

Know your audience and create content that will appeal to their needs. If you know what they want, you should be able to address the right questions, and in the bargain, help solve their customers’ problems.

#3: Use relevant keywords

Using SEO and social media to generate new leads has become the new way to do marketing, thanks to more and more people searching for products and services online.

In other words, when you use the most important keywords, then you are giving your prospects an easy way to find you at the top of search engines once they type in that keyword. Once they begin to see social proof of your credibility and trust, the chances of you generating leads are greater.

#4: Ask for the sale

No matter how good your product or service is, it’s important to ask for the sale as old-fashioned as this point might seem. In other words, you get your online customer to perform a call-to-action which could entail getting customers to call, email, download a report and subscribe and so on and so forth.

Tip of the Day

Hold volunteer positions in organizations. This is a great way to stay visible and give back to groups that have helped you.
